We are especially proud when we can open our doors to those who are our future. Last week, we had the honor of hosting children from Preschool "Ub", who came together with their teacher to learn how their favorite milk flavors are made.

The goal of this visit was to show children the entire "Milk Road", from the moment it is collected from local farms, all the way to the store shelves, in an interactive and adapted way.

The children had the opportunity to see that the dairy is not just a place where milk is processed, but a large system made up of people from different professions.

• Logistics as the heart of the system - our colleagues from the logistics sector showed the children how large tanker trucks work and explained the process of collecting milk from our subcontractors.
• Small laboratory school - the greatest excitement reigned with the laboratory workers. Our colleague presented the quality control process to the children through a concrete experiment. They were able to see how the milk is tested and what are the standards that each drop must meet before it goes further into processing.

For us at Mlekara Ub, such visits are not just protocol. They are an opportunity to explain to children the importance of healthy eating and home production. Through talking with the employees, the children learned that behind every glass of milk or piece of cheese is the hard work of milkmen, drivers, technologists and many other experts.

Judging by the number of raised hands and curious questions, we wouldn't be surprised if one of these little ones returns to our dairy as a colleague in the future!
